We know that returns are a major problem for brands—because they’ve told us so. We also know that the second-hand market operates outside the brand experience that companies want to preserve for their customers. That’s why we’ve been working on a solution that can effectively respond to all of this: Òpera.

This new model digitally integrates the management of textile treatment, reverse logistics, and the traceability and valuation of garments, enabling fashion brands to implement circularity effectively: extending product life, recovering the maximum value of each garment, and preserving the brand experience throughout every lifecycle.

The Òpera model is not disruptive—it doesn’t alter each brand’s current operations. It has been designed this way to ensure easy adoption. Circularity is increasingly necessary and requires solutions that make it easier for brands to apply it.

At Girbau LAB, we’re thrilled to launch Òpera, as it represents the achievement of an important goal we’ve been working toward for a long time: offering a viable solution to help fashion brands advance in circularity and repeatedly preserve the maximum use value of their garments without having to change how they operate.

The model is based on care and, therefore, on extending the life of each garment. This will allow brands to preserve the value of their pieces over time, giving users access to fashion they can enjoy—knowing that the impact of their choices will be significantly reduced.
