Girbau Lab’s iDrivers program launches its International Edition

This 2019 Girbau LAB launches for the first time the International iDrivers Program with Girbau employees from all the world. iDrivers is an intrapreneurship project driven by Girbau LAB. Workers with creative ideas can improve experiences, products and /or processes and transfer their ideas to the Girbau Business Challenges for solutions and a business proposal for the laundry industry.

As part of the iDrivers Program, 11 Girbau volunteers from Australia, China, France, República Dominicana, Russia, USA and UK have been selected and will learn how to test their ideas, involve customers to validate or invalidate them, and learn a set of techniques that will help them in their professional and personal development.

This edition will take place from September to December 2019 and will be held two international workshops: Kick off Workshop – September 4th-5th. Oshkosh. Wi. (US) and the Final Business Proposal Presentation – December 12th 2019. Vic (Spain). In turn, participants will have 6 modules online training program on innovation and entrepreneurship; a personalized mentorship from experienced earned senior business people who have their stripes and acquire unique entrepreneur skills to present business ideas; and access to a team of developers, designers and online marketers for digital prototyping and testing.

At the same time, the iDrivers project has begun his second edition with Girbau workers from the headquarters in Vic. The participants have started the process with the tools of the Fundació Privada per a la Creativació to take inspiration from the generation of ideas for the future of laundry.In the previous edition of iDrivers 2018 in Vic were selected seven people who had the support of a team of internal and external mentors to be able to define their projects evaluating their market potential, their technical and economic feasibility. Of the 66 ideas presented, 5 projects were carried out, which are in a second phase of development and can be moved for future business. In this link  you can learn more from the iDrivers team 2018.

The Girbau LAB iDrivers team have been awarded with the ADN-Intraprèn award, from the 2019 ADNEmprèn awards. This is a new category that wants to recognize the work of intrapreneurship in the private or public sector.
